Suspect List
Silas Moore
Silas is a quiet, long-time farmhand who prefers animals over people. She opposed the masquerade ball and knew about plans to sell the land.
Beatrice Vane
Beatrice was Penelope’s closest friend, living beyond her means and dependent on Penelope’s money. She and Penelope had a fight over an unpaid loan and over her being removed from the will.
Julia Stewart
Julia Stewart spent her life in Penelope’s shadow. The younger sibling, the “undiscovered” artist, and the one living off her sister's success and fortune, she had been supported in her artistic career by her sister's wealth and had a lot to lose if her sister cut her off.
Carl Sterling
Carl Sterling, a charismatic art dealer and Penelope’s ex-boyfriend, never truly let go of his feelings. Seeing Penelope arrive with another companion reignited old jealousy.
